Ken Hikage
Ken Hikage
Name: Ken Hikage
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Description: Ken has dark, tanned skin, showing signs of his Murian descent. His stark white hair and piercing white gaze lay in contrast to his tanned skin, his hair laid out and combed flat and pristine across his head, in a warrior's cut. He wears a full body black tunic with red lines interlacing the outfit, along with the Crest of Mu, in yellow, about his chest. His hands remain free of any coverings, however are calloused and scarred from years in Whazzap. He is lithe and strong, his legs giving him an athletic appeal; however, when it comes down to muscles for strength, his appearance is lacking.
Personality: He is a determined, and sometimes even stubborn, man who fights for what he believes in. He carries himself optimistically and charismatically, confident and secure in his own capabilities and beliefs, without falter in his execution. A zealot at heart, whatever Ken sets as his purpose, he will fight with all of his fervor, without hesitation nor rest, until its completion. That is his conviction.
Ken cares little for others' opinions of him, and cares even less for their own perception of power. He honors opponents that take their words and prove them in glory, forged of wave and steel, against his own. He yearns after the thrill that the battlefield brings, and finds peace in its simplicity and complexity all at once. It was on a battlefield not unlike the ones he chases that he learned who he was, and what he truly believed: He believed that power was within one's self, and could not be searched for in others. Allies and tools at his disposal were one thing; being incapable of fighting without that additional power was another. Self reliance and self dependability, alongside battlefield etiquette and a conviction to fight for what one would stand for - that is what he honors.
Biography: Ken grew up in the wilds of Whazzap, training to become the warrior he needed to be with the rest of his kind. He was required to hunt and fight for the rest of his friends, keeping them alive. A time came when he had to leave his friends so that he may start his own journey. Through the journey, a presence called his name. Following the presence, he found a pure black Hunter V-G. As soon as he put it on, it activated EM Wave change sequence, turning him into the Warrior of Darkness: Shade.
As a Warrior of his own rights, he now has the privileges to go and roam as he pleases. However, he still holds dear to his home Tribe. Under the wisdom of the Sages, Ken has enrolled in the Echo Ridge Elementary School. As a result, he has also taken up residence in a nearby home; that he doesn't need to travel back and forth between Whazzap and Echo Ridge. As a means to pass the time, Ken has taken up a Journalism Class within the school; which gives him a good bit of access to normally restricted information and areas. Still growing accustomed to his new life, Ken looks forward to new friends, allies and adventures. . .as well as to the day that he can return to his Tribe.
His first true testament of power, proved in a blood bath over a stone sword. On the sandy shores of Loch Mess, Ken fought his first true battle against a Goat-Like Wave Warrior, a Mall Cop and a Battle Wizard for rights over the power of the Zerker Tribe. Starting off rocky, he quickly indulged in the Ancient Tribe's Power, using it to eventually carry him to victory.
After a long struggle to tame the Zerker Tribe's massive power, it proved to be too much for Ken at the time. And so, he left the Sword to it's own wills as he, himself, searched for a new means for greatness. . .a new means of absolute conquest. This new means of absolute conquest led him to find Aaron Bale, whom he proceeded to bury all of his Zenny, and then some, into for upgrades. This overexertion of his funds caused him to be in heavy debt to the Weapons Specialist, which led him to have to follow a dark path in order to pay it off. Although he wasn't completely proud of what he had too do, it all seemed to pay off - in the end, he was able to fight back against Aaron and leave a free man.
The highlight of his life was meeting Mu himself, and being recognized and then blessed by the god of EM Waves, and of his people. As a final boon from his ancestry, he gained access to the Leviathan Spear - which, in turn, reversed the effects of the Zerker Tribe that gave him and Yoru the ability to Wave Change.
After his rejection from the Satellite Admins, his life went down a darker path. He changed his outlooks on the world, and fully gave into the will of his origins. What path it holds for him in the future could only be seen with time.
As expected, time went on, and, so did Ken. He had accepted his dark desires and allowed himself to take to a small spree of crime and villainous shenanigans, mostly taking out his rage from the Admins in the form of testing out his new power against any poor soul who got in his way. It was a dark time for him, indeed, and, thankfully, he came to the realization that this just wasn't him. After his rage had finally left him, he realized that he was dishonoring himself and the people who raised him in a little temper tantrum of sorts, and decided that he was going to leave that behind.
He stayed on his path of independence, and became a strong practitioner of a simple belief: If it befitted him, he'd utilize it. If it didn't, he'd reject it. This made him neither hero nor villain, and put him somewhere in between. He has grown out of his power hungry state, and has started to return to life as a normal person, outside of his antics with his Wave Form.
Ken has made his official move into Echo Ridge, and is now a permanent resident. Never having been an official student at the nearby school, he continues his studies in journalism and history independently, keeping his keen interests on murian lore and the possibility of new opponents.

Name: Kage
Gender: Male
Description: His main looks can be described as a large black cloud of EM waves. He only has two pieces of armor on his body; his Torso and his arms. From the torso, a jet of EM waves fly out to form a lower body, and the same for the head, with red eyes. Over his chest is a black, metallic armor. At the center of his armor is the Crest of Mu. His arms aren't really arms at all, but long, thin, sharp swords, with red marks running down them.
Personality: Kage doesn't speak much, preferring to keep his comments to meaningful, short sentences, finding a simplicity and power in succinctness rather than verbosity. His reserved state makes it difficult to determine his feelings or his motivations, but, much like Shade, he seems content with and intent on ensuring the survival of and that proper respect be given to Murian culture. As shown in his few conversations, he is intelligent and deliberate, and acts only with careful planning.
Biography: Having been trapped by a civilization that did not understand him, Kage spent the first few years of his life confined to the Hunter V-G that Ken now carries on his arm. His only 'family' takes the form of his EM Brother, Yoru; the two being intimately linked together.
After finding Ken, Kage was the first to truly bond with the Warrior. Yoru came soon after, however, as the two's relationship was hindered by Ken's inability to understand the bird-like Wizard. Kage and Ken first EM Wave Changed the very day they met, and it was like a bond was forged in fire and glory that day. The two have become strong allies and even greater friends than many people would perceive possible between a human and a Wizard.
Kage was first changed by his interaction with the Zerker Tribe - the mighty tribe left him ranting and full of energy, causing him to forcefully merge with Ken at random intervals to attack nearby strangers. Although ken has no recollection of these events, they have happened many times since acquiring the Sword. He and Ken set out to calm the Zerker Tribe's rage, and were helped by Nova and Cindy. After fighting for a little while, they were attacked by Aaron; from which Kage and Ken had to work together in order to get out of debt.
Later on, during their service to Aaron and Scorpio, Aaron forcefully uploaded data into Kage; using him as a guinea pig. Although the effects of this Data aren't overly obvious, every now and again Kage can be seen taking a sudden beastial form over his normal self.
Later on, Ken and Kage learned that the remnants of the Zerker Tribe's power altered the way that they interacted during Wave Form.
When infused with the Wave Generator/Wave Converter by Mu, his eyes changed to a deeper red. His EM body now gives off a radiating presence, as if the world around him is being distilled simply by his presence. It's similar to the effects that a heat wave has on the air around it.
As Ken moved on in life, as did Kage. Kage was that voice in the dark that kept Ken's head on tight; that single voice of reason amongst the chaos. Despite Ken's dislike of bonds with anyone else, he and Yoru are Ken's closest friends, and Kage was a big part of the effort that pulled Ken out of the dark. Otherwise, he has been a great support to Ken, and follows him throughout life without much intervention.

Name: Yoru
Gender: Male
Description: A bird like EM Being, the only part of his body that actually shows he is an EM being and not an Armored bird is his chest, which is a writhing mass of black EM waves. Other than that, It does look like an armored black eagle. Wings, head, and talons are all covered in black armor, and he has yellow eyes. His wings are razor sharp, the same be with his beak and talons. He is a powerful force to reckon with, and though he looks heavy, he can easily get off the ground.
Personality: Much like Kage, the bird-like EM Being keeps to himself, and does not speak much on its own. When it does make noises, they are more like inscrutable cries, which Ken and Kage both seem to be able to understand. He delegates himself to Ken's side, and follows him and Kage without question.
Biography: Having been trapped by a civilization that did not understand him, Yoru spent the first few years of his life confined to the Hunter V-G that Ken now carries on his arm. His only 'family' takes the form of his EM Brother, Kage; the two being intimately linked together.
After finding Ken, Kage was the first to truly bond with the Warrior. Yoru came soon after, however, as the two's relationship was hindered by Ken's inability to understand the Bird-like Wizard. Yoru and Ken first joined together on a faithful day, the very day that Ken first interacted with the Zerker Tribe. The two have become strong allies and even greater friends than many people would perceive possible between a human and a Wizard.
Yoru was first changed by his interaction with the Zerker Tribe - just as the Tribe effected his brother, Yoru, too, was forced to converge with Ken and attack the nearby people. Although Ken has no recollection of these events, they have happened many times since acquiring the Sword. After finally being calmed, with help from Nova Ozuka and Cindy, leading them to be kidnapped by Aaron and Scorpio. Although Kage left the event changed and somewhat violated, Yoru managed to get out of Aaron's grasp without harm.
Yoru hasn't been a big part of Ken's life as of late, although has participated alongside him in every event. He has reverted back to his quiet self, after the changes wrought by Leviathan dubbed he and Ken incapable of Wave Changing (a privilege he misses and loved).

Name: Shade Σμ
Element: Blade
-- Base: Melee Damage Cap is increased by 1 Full Damage Level.
-- v2: +Low Blade Damage.
-- v3: +1 Character Weapon.
Version: 1
-- +1 Attack added to a single weapon. Can be selected again to add an attack to a different weapon, but only once per advancement level.
-- +1 Damage Level to Attacks of the user's Main Element.
Gender: Male
Description:
Ken's EM Wave conversion has a black-metallic helmet set over his head; covering up his ears and spreading over his forehead; more of a mask than a helmet. The mask allows his white hair to stick up straight into the air. His visor, which seem to float over his face rather than attach to anything, is a purplish-oval like shape that folds around his eyes, three spikes coming from each side of the device: One going up from the left, one from the right, and one in the middle. Now visible behind his visor is his orange, wild eyes.
From his jaw-line down is an extremely dark cat suit that runs uninterrupted down his body, save for the golden Crest of Mu at his chest, and the sturdy black armor that proceeds from his elbows to his wrists, and from his knees to cover up his entire foot. Around his neck is a strange metallic substance that wraps over his entire neck; the substance is a powerful shield to his neck. Coming up from his shoulders are knobbed spaulders, made from the same material around his neck.
The sturdy black armor at his elbows can be described to start from the crook of his elbow, with a small spike of black armor floating over the joint before the entire forearm is encased in solid, sturdy black armor; on each of his wrists--where the black armor stops--can be found a sturdy ring of ancient stone with engravings along the side.
Coming on the black armor, before the stone, is a silver, slotted coil with three red spines coming from it; one of these on each arm.
Coming out of the stone on each arm, in contrast, is a writing mass of purple energy; rather than flames. The energy is closely shifted to take on the form of his hands, but is rather fluid; as if threatening to change form at any time.
His chest bears a Golden Mu Crest; unlike most, which have been seen to be red.
The black suit continues, as stated earlier, again until his knees. Then a small spike of black armor covers up the knee-cap, much like the elbow armor, and then falls to cover up his feet. A slotted, silver coil with three red spines proceeding from it, traveling up the length of his leg, is braced around his ankle; a small golden spike coming from that to put definition into his pointed, armored boots.

- Heavy Weapons: Trained in the use of two, light-weight weapons in both hands, his training has nothing to say for the balance that a single, heavy-weight weapon requires.
- Light Weight: Although he is extremely flexible, he suffers from his light weight in that he is knocked back farther by most attacks.
- Introvert: His skill on the field of battle is sometimes overbearingly oppressive to a cooperative assault, preferring to fight in situations that he is in total control as opposed to alongside others.
- Strength Deficit: The taxing process of maintaining his level of control over his Wave Form causes his strength to be slightly lower than usual, forcing Ken to rely more on his speed.
