The missiles continued fanning about the area as before, some of them grazing Shine, the rest exploding nearby to threaten her balance. As the gravity wave began its trajectory toward her, she positioned behind Cherufe Magma and leapfrogged over him -- the gravity wave finding its mark on him instead while her own body flung itself toward Spades' approaching charge.
" Swipe! "
While verbalizing her own sound effect, her hand turned black again as she ran it along the length of the blade as she flew past him, trimming a significant portion of its frequency and imbuing that into her own sword before vanishing into the ground as she landed-- diving into her shadow as if it were a pool of liquid rather than an imprint on a solid object.
Shadowy copies of her rose up around his Gravity Seekers a moment later, each one charging at the entities and striking them with the imbued sword before disappearing without a trace while the original Shine re-emerged back near Trailblazer and Cherufe amidst the chaos.

*Looked like the upper output of that sword was a bit greater than anticipated to still stop Magma's attack. But they could meet that and make up for it in due time. More than just his lucky guess, the parasitic nature of the bat would be in rare form as well as the heat siphon would begin again, this time spawning the very same orbs that hovered about the master of the spade suit and using it to prevent the offensive effort that came his way. His form would flare up as he would aim to shift the terrain back to the lightning from before to circumvent the void the gravity held on them, pulling the energy back as he lifted up one of the spheres he summoned that grew ever stronger from the surrounding noise that was building in their battle.*

*The electricity would course through it before he would hurl it, causing it to erupt while the field had finally returned to its null state for a brief moment of time. It wouldn't last for very long, but he also doubted this would be enough to see it done given the defensive presented last time. It was still shy of what was needed to break through the positive sword, but that was something they needed a little more time to work around.*

The upper limit of this thing was truly frustrating - the sky wasn't quite the limit with rockets, he guessed, but it was annoying nonetheless. Cherufe would need to better bide his time in preparation for what was to come, it seemed, and the actions of his allies allowed him to do just that.
Taking the brunt of the attacks, Shine hopped over the gravity waves and had Cherufee handle them, instead. That suited him just fine, as he hunkered down and built up a shell of obsidian to protect himself as the assaults landed on him. Each strike make his body burn brighter as he took the force, the cracking obsidian pouring out lava which immediately hardened for the next round. When all was done, Cherufe Magma still stood strong.
"Years of fury and trial rest upon these shoulders. Come, and break upon my defense." He did not falter, and continued to burn, building up the strength that he began last time.

Their concerted efforts once again destroyed the gravitational spheres, and the Trailblazer handled the gravitational flux they created in their destruction. All that was left was for the master of the suit of spades to show why this was his launch, and not anyone else's.
He raised both swords against his gravitational sphere thrown back at him, the negative sword pulling energy from the gravity sphere first and then the blue sword absorbing that energy to cancel it out again. His wild grin never faded as he began anew, the cycle of rockets, gravitational fluxes, and constant assaults seeming familiar at this point, although he didn't summon the gravity seekers.

Spade Magnes folded himself into his shoulders as they wrapped around his body, and the large rocket launched itself directly towards the dragon that has been taunting him. With all the force and strength of the full-speed attack, what followed after was a barrage of rockets launched alongside his own dash to drown the wave warriors in the pelting rockets.
He rose up and aimed the still sparking positive sword at Cherufee Magma again, and then the large gravitational sphere on his base erupted and expanded into a massive field that tried to consume all of them. He disappeared into the field much like Shine could into her shadow, and emerged behind her, both swords raised, and began whirling both of them rapidly as he slashed at her to remove her from the battle.

Trailblazer's ability to imitate his enemy came in handy for Shine, as his emulated Gravity Seekers knocked her out of the way of several of Spades's attacks that would have assuredly spelled her doom.

Having caught her balance, she was about out of ideas on how to overcome his defenses so she just did more of the same: lobbing handfuls of grenades at the enemy while the other, smarter people here handled the strategizing.

*Looked like it was time for lift-off and they were to be caught up in the blaze. Magma seemed good to go, which meant he would direct the seeker in the path of the rockets for them that he had taken and raise the barrier for the defensive efforts as before. But instead of moving from his position, he would instead aim his wings at the blazing rocket, smirking to himself about the town that would potentially be ablaze after the onset of the launch.*
"I think they're due for some fireworks anyway. You wanted to soar like a rocket, right? This should give you plenty of altitude."
*The rising heat would reach its apex as he would begin to fire, the siphoned heat and the generated noise allowing him to cut loose in a manner that typically wasn't available to him. If nothing else at least, Clava was living up to what it was purposed for when he went out of his way. How well the Master of Spades handled the situation after the revealed hand would be up to the cards now.*

As the launch proceeded, the end of this fight was in view. The rockets and unceasing release of devastation was met only by his own determination, the will of the defender to survive burning as a bright wall of defiance against the odds. Lava poured forward as he tapped into a reserve of strength, his endurance refusing to find fault as time after time, the explosions cleared and he still stood.
He had yet to reach the conditions to meet his own upper limit, as his full power was still slumbering. The statue that he formed was his defensive mechanism to survive whatever fury could descend upon him, to wait out the defenses of any adversary, while the rest of them burned brighter while he was still igniting from within. The wave world was still invisible to the unaided eye, but the explosions from the intense Noise as the rockets collided with the blaze of the trailblazer set off fireworks to be sure; they weren't the kind to attract the happy awe of a crowd; no, these eruptions could be seen from the school, and immediately children began to be ushered back inside.
While the sulfurous fog continued to eat away at him, the master of the suit of spades continued to play its own power against theirs, requiring them to not only meet his energy but surpass it. Their efforts culminating at long last, he had to surge his electrical output multiple times due to the disrupting explosions from their grenades, spinning his sword multiple times rather than continuously to ward off attacks.
When it came time to fight against the Mayhem, Spade Magnes instead surged his power through the positive sword, increasing its output and spinning the blade around its magnet coil to amplify his magnetic field using its power rather than meeting it fully against one attack. Surrounded by its protection, it was all he could do to withstand the force, but once it was done, he wasn't yet done - far from it.
The Noise in the space seemed to be reaching a critical point for the out of control wizard, as it raised up both of its sword arms and roared its frustration. Rockets forged themselves out of thin air from the noise and launched themselves at the warriors, as the gravity field at his base continued to surge with power, building up for something incredible.

The excessive Noise seemed to have another unexpected side-effect besides enraging Spade Magnes -- a dense cloud of it permeated around Shine for a moment before seeping into her, and then she stood with a noticeably different posture than before.
As Spade approached to attack, her entire body shifted black instead of just her hand this time, phasing directly through each strike. She'd steal the frequency of these attacks just as she had done before, but now it was a much more belligerent amount than just trimming off of the top. And when she struck back, there was an uncanny degree of finesse and lethal intent than would be expected from the normally ditzy, playful girl.
Emilia's tolerance for Noise must have been quite low, but whatever was driving "Shine" right now was basking in it. She wouldn't leave any time to decipher that further as she poised for another round if her enemy pushed further.

*As suspected, it would have just enough to handle it one way or another. But the deed was done to open the door for the rocket to finish its due deed either way. Didn't matter how it reached that point until then. If he could do it again, then credit where it was due, the augments provided by Dealer to the otherwise lackluster Magnes was certainly something else. Shine was putting in an effective amount of work considering his earlier impression of her, but this wasn't the time to dig deeper into that. He would need a brief moment to repeat what he did to a lesser degree, but there was no need for that either. The sword wouldn't be able to halt him anymore as it was, presuming that the lethal entourage from Shine wasn't enough already as he would again aim to fire. He did get a bit of a smirk from the fleeing children down below, but that was an analysis he could keep to himself.*

Shine handled this barrage of missiles, leaving the rest of the destruction of this individual up to them. With all the fury he had built up, Cherufee Magma unleashed a series of billowing smoke clouds that began as just creeping waves of smoke from from the statue, and then, as the dragon beneath erupted, the smoke clouds erupted into massive explosions as the lava was sent scattered from the statue in every direction, looking to see this to finality.

No matter how the rocket responded, he had reached blast off, and the launch was not a success. He had found himself at the end of his rope, and each of the warriors present were more than capable of finishing him once his defensive array had finally failed him. As the Noise in the space spiked, his gravitational field inverted as the doppelgangers from Shine finally did their number on him, and he erupted in a massive explosion that would send the lesser wave beings sprawling.
When the dust cleared, more noise clusters than what they started with were present, and the influx of intense Noise was beginning to cluster into dense green clouds and a dangerously familiar red haze, whisps of it collecting together as if acting as a warning . . . it all seemed to stop for a moment, not quite charging the Wave Hole yet.
