::Back Alley::
On an alley located between two towering skyscrapers is a place run by criminals for criminals. The Back Alley is where the EMCs of society come together to sell goods to their fellows. Battlecards are the main specialty of the people who run the place and are also its main draw, though other kinds of wares are also available.
By the entrance to the alley are a pair of modified Battle Wizards, as well as at least one human goon behind them. Criminals who want to get in have to show some sort of proof that they committed crimes recently; if the crime in question was public enough, they simply have to show their Transcode or display their Wave Form. There's also a mechanism by the entrance that emits a barrier meant to repulse EM Beings, in case one tries to butt in without permission.
Once entrance is allowed, the visitor is guided along the red bricks that make up the narrow road, along which are the criminals who sell the less sought-after wares. Black paint covers the marble walls of the buildings by the alley's sides, which coupled with the general lack of light sources makes for a rather dark place. Appliances capable of emitting EM Waves are turned off here, save for the Hunter VGs of the criminals who run the place and their visitors, which prevent the formation of Wave Roads above. The alley comes at a dead-end with a five-meter-tall wall made of concrete.
Every once in a while, the GSP gets requests from scared civilians to investigate the place, but they usually refrain from doing so, mainly because they haven't been able to find any evidence of foul play involving the merchandise that is sold. The criminals that run the place are fairly well-behaved too, as they know the cops wouldn't hesitate to give them a hard time otherwise, so they usually turn away regular passersby and don't give them much trouble. With few reasons to justify a legal arrest of the people who run the place, the GSP has little choice but to let them operate in the Back Alley as they want, with the unspoken implication that they're safe as long as they don't do anything illegal out in the open.
The Back Alley supports only Null Panels, and does not have an easily accessible Wave Road.
