Aaron Bale
Description: Aaron is 6'1", with short, brown, choppy hair. He has heterochromia, his left eye blue and his right eye brown. He has a well-pronounced jaw, slightly widened and raised cheeks, and while his face is touched with his age, he does not have facial hair. His slender, somewhat lanky body style is pronounced by long legs, thin and flexible arms, and an overall fit physique. His outfits consist of t-shirts of varying colors, blue or khaki jeans, comfortable running shoes, and an overlaying red jacket that has seen a lot of use.
Personality: Aaron is known for his jokes and overall ingenuity. Extremely intelligent, Aaron has always been quite at home around technology. Finding himself more interested in what he can do to further his own ideals over what the world thinks of him, he is also pretty selfish. He's a sole practitioner, but understands the value of working alongside others to have a network while working in his trade. He's an inveigler at heart; a manipulator, a merchant with a silver tongue, and has great confidence in his work.
Beneath the shell of his confidence, though, is his arrogance. Sly and quick of tongue, it's almost second nature to him to lie when he finds himself in a bind. From years of not being able to settle down on his own, Aaron has a natural distrust for others, and finds himself incredibly adaptable, able to quickly learn about the situation he's in and respond to it appropriately, being both spontaneous and pragmatic.
Biography: Aaron has always had a preference for being on his own, when given the opportunity. While charismatic and easily involved with others, his childhood was less than conducive to finding company comfortable.
Orphaned at birth, Aaron was raised in the foster system, and spent the first few years of his life under less than amazing care, with the constant promise of being picked up and ferried away to a brand new life, and each time, he found himself disappointed. He was something of a troublemaker, always seeking after approval and attention in ways that were most effective, and it seemed no families were up for the task of breaking him of those habits. Aaron also got fairly well acquainted with the technology in the facility, more than a few times being caught with a camera, a computer, a wave generator, and even at the Wave Station, attempting to deconstruct and put them back together with some spare tools he had 'acquired.'
With a negative opinion of him started young, he felt scorned and unseen. As he got older, he became less and less interested in getting anyone else's attention, and more and more interested in his talent for technology. He stopped acting up so much in return for being able to learn more about it, and was an astute pupil when it came to programming. Something of a prodigy, he had designed his first wizard by hand when he was only 9 years old.
His first partner wasn't going to be that wizard, though. Years of built-up frustration, fear, distrust, and loss eventually caught the attention of a passing FMian, and Aaron met Scorpio. Scorpio offered him the world, and Aaron wholeheartedly accepted. Two indviduals of like minds, Aaron's natural distrust paired well with Scorpio's inclination for deception. With Scorpio's presence giving him access to the wave world, and Aaron's already strong concept with technology, his understanding of the Wave World, and wave technology as a whole, burgeoned without restraint. Uncaring of the implications, he slipped into whatever means necessary to get what he wanted, completing his studies and learning how to use a Wave Sculptor to design weapons and devices for EMCs. He became a successful illegitimate businessman.
When bad business turned south, however, Aaron lost Scorpio. The loss of the only individual he had ever truly connected with hit him hard, but he recovered quickly, knowing he had his business to keep track of. With his interest in technology guiding him, he researched into advances in Wave Technology, and found himself scouring through ancient archives until he found an article on an excavation site, deep in the heart of Netopia. Following his gut, he travelled there, and bonded with the cryptid Murian UMA, Cherufe.
Cherufe was a ferocious guardian and a slumbering behemoth, all at the same time, and was almost lazily in agreement with joining Aaron, if it would give it the opportunity to leave its slumber when it wanted to. The slumbering monster happily offered its insights into Murian technology, as well, any advancement in Wave Technology always leading back to that ancient civilization before it could lead forward. With his shop set up in the depths of the underworld beneath Wilshire Hills, Aaron went on to master his craft and continued to search for more ways to advance.

Cherufe
Description: Cherufe's Wave Color is that of molten lava, with hot, molten slag dripping from its core. The lower half of his body starts at a blocky mass of cracked magma, the molten lava-colored waves flowing out of the rock to the ground below.
His upper body is, for the most part, humanoid. His abdomen is a cracked, circular volcanic slab, lava glowing behind the cracks. A symbol of lava dripping from a barely formed stone of volcanic slag is drawn into the stone with yellow lines. The orange waves of his body flow around the stone slab, branching off to either side to form his arms.
His hands are coated in obsidian-colored armor, with a somewhat metallic sheen, the lava-colored waves glowing from underneath.
His shoulders up are coated in the same traditional armor of a Murian soldier, but, crafted from brimstone, with yellow markings carving runes up and down the obsidian armor. Rather than it being purely covered by the cone-like helmet, holes near the top allow a pair of molten eyes to shine through the black stone.
Personality: Cherufe is a somewhat lackadaisical, lulled personality, with the potential for its emotions to very suddenly spiral out of control into unhinged passion and fury. Its current state of mind is easy to see when looking at its wave form, the hot lava flowing slowly from its core and looking to be almost chilling and solidifying when he is resting, and the whole of his body unleashing plumes of ash, rapidly burning and flowing when he is active.
Cherufe doesn't really have an in-between state - when resting, he is lulled, quiet, withdrawn, lazy, and inattentive. He listens to Aaron and can have conversations while in this state, but is slow to respond. This is the state that its the easiest to learn anything about him, interestingly enough; he is polite, formal, and quite apathetic. He is also quiet, and reserved. This is the state he evidently prefers to be in.
When active, he is passionate, his emotions explosive and dangerous, be it happiness or fury. The personality shift between resting and active is quite extreme, going from polite and formal to loud, passionate, furious, all else falling to the side in preference of removing whatever it was that woke him up so that he can go back to resting.
Biography: Cherufe is a cryptid UMA, created by Le Mu. As one of the EM Beings created to protect and serve the Murian deity in one way or another, Cherufe acted as a simple temple guard, quiet and inactive in a way that did not disrupt anyone that passed him by, but highly invested in the destruction of anyone that invaded the temple grounds.
Somehow involved in the rise and fall of the Murian empire, and then much of its existence lost to time, Cherufe has been around for thousands of years, and has spent the majority of it sleeping. It does not seem intent on sharing its history, but, when it has awoken, it has moved about in such a way that plenty of folk tales have been told regarding it. Working alongside Aaron, it maintains its secrecy, but has joined him in his efforts to work with a more nefarious crowd, furiously protecting Aaron's work when called for.

Cherufe Magma
Description: Cherufe Magma is forged from molten lava, hot, burning slag, hardened obsidian, and blocks of magma melded together. When the transformation first begins, he is most often dormant, Cherufe Magma's true form hidden by the slumbering mountain that makes up his dormant state.
The roughly humanoid figure of hardened obsidian and cooled magma stands nine feet tall, looking by all accounts to be a massive obsidian statue, with a deep red glow emanating from the cracks within the stone like a beating heart. Slow-moving lava pours through the cracks in the stonework, flowing down and around the statue without great danger, and a gentle cloud of smoke billows away from it. The statue looks to be a traditional Murian soldier fashioned from volcanic rock, the triangular faceplate carved into, revealing a space where a face would normally be visible from. Instead, a dark fire from within casts shadows in the hollowed out helm, a soft glow emanating from the otherwise empty eye sockets.
Volcanic slabs of obsidian and magma make up his armored chest piece, flattened down and polished to a smooth sheen, with vents carved into the chest where a ribcage would be, allowing smoke and lava to pour out more freely. The back of the statue has less attention given to it, with just roughly hewn slabs of volcanic rock piled together, uneven spines and rocky protrusions leaking out the molten essence.
From his forearm down, the rock that makes up his form is broken and unformed, lava free-flowing from the statue and just barely held together with small slabs of rock that give it form. Uneven protrusions jut out from the arm, with cracks in the surface allowing his molten essence to flow, with large stone spires arcing back from the improperly formed gauntlet of barely hardened magma. The lower half of the statue is barely hardened together, soft stone moving slowly and slinking along, with lava flowing out, making his underside look like the foot of a snail, flowing lava from beneath rather than slime.
When the beast within awakens, and his power truly begins to flow, the incredible heat and energy causes the entire outer facade to break, crack, and explode, as the beast within the mountain is unleashed. Molten Cherufe's true form is that of an obsidian-scaled dragon. Curled up within his volcanic shell, Molten Cherufe is nearly 10ft long, 8ft tall, and, with his impressive wingspan, 8ft wide, with rippling muscles and powerful claws and fangs. Vicious teeth and claws drip lava, which appears to be his blood, his wing's translucent hide visibly pulsating with his molten essence. Spines of cracked brimstone, some of them actively flowing with lava, line his back, and his maw has an impressive, if daunting, display of cracked, but glass-sharp obsidian fangs positioned in it. Lava explodes from the volcanic peaks that act as his horns, constantly flowing all around him, and smoke and brimstone billow off of his body in thick clouds.
