Name: Kazumi Inamoto
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Description: Kazumi is a slim woman with a height of 1.75 meters and long blonde hair that is tied neatly in a ponytail behind her neck. Her green eyes are usually obscured by the dark sunglasses that she constantly wears, which are largely aesthetic given that she refuses to take them off even when she's inside or if it's dark out, though they have a function that allows Kazumi to peer into the Wave World if she so desires.
Her default choice of attire consists of a simple sleeveless white shirt under a black denim button up jacket, black jeans, short white socks with white loafers, and a pair of fingerless gloves, with the left-hand one being white and the right-hand one black. Sometimes she discards the jacket if it is particularly hot, though usually she just bears through the heat. Occasionally she will paint her nails or wear earrings upon her mother's request; in those cases, Kazumi will use alternating colors of nail polish to fit whatever arbitrary aesthetic is in her mind, or use earrings that are different from each other but represent some sort of theme. Some of her alternate choices of attire tend to look awkward and call attention, and very rarely she will also wear some outfit made up of bright-colored clothes her mom picks out for her.
Personality: Kazumi isn't very fond of interacting with others, as she has little faith or respect for anyone, with the exception of her mother and Kabuto. Due to that, she has a tendency of being blunt and harsh with her words, and is very dismissive of others around her in general. In some particular situations she won't even bother to speak unless absolutely necessary, and will leave most of the talking to her Wizard. She has come to realize the necessity of developing some tact in her interactions, though, mainly because the path she plans on taking requires her to talk to a lot of people, so she's learned to filter out some of her more abrasive choices of words and to show some basic politeness and minimal respect, though she still comes across as very detached and indifferent. And if someone starts irritating her, specially if on purpose, she won't have any qualms on expressing her contempt openly.
Around her mother and Kabuto, Kazumi is a lot more comfortable, more so with the latter than with the former, and even though she isn't very good at expressing her affection, she is noticeably kinder and more patient, as well as more willing to remove her sunglasses, and occasionally she will even let out a smile. Even they aren't completely safe from her sharp tongue, though she's a lot more cautious to not be hurtful to them. No other person has the same level of closeness to Kazumi as those two, and she has little to intention of opening herself up to that extent to anyone else. Nevertheless, she does occasionaly come across a few individuals that she respects or empathizes with somehow, which she displays in her own indifferent way.
If some sort of danger arises while she is nearby, Kazumi will usually take action to stop it with Kabuto, as she hates being a passive spectator to those situations. During battle, she focuses to the best of her abilities on whatever her goal is and analyzes the situation accordingly, taking whichever decision will ensure that she and her partner make it out alive in the end. Any words to her enemies are kept to a minimum if she can help it, since Kazumi treats battle as a necessity rather than something she enjoys, though she does get an adrenaline rush that she can't deny feels a bit exciting.
Her main hobby consists of reading fiction books, an activity she has enjoyed ever since she was a child. When she isn't training or otherwise engaged in some important business, Kazumi can be found reading one of her books in some public location, and while she can get engrossed easily she still remains alert to her surroundings. She does her best to read whenever she can, because if she doesn't occupy her mind somehow, she will tend to be absorbed into her memories of the battle in Wilshire Hills, something she will never be able to remove from her mind.
Biography: Though born to loving parents that were relatively well off, Kazumi came to experience strife early on in her life. Sometime after she turned four, her parents started arguing constantly with each other, shouting a lot and using many unpleasant words that the girl couldn't quite comprehend. She tried to get some explanation from them, but all they gave her were non-answers. The arguments continued on and on, and Kazumi eventually began taking refuge in her closet, reading a book to pass the time and escape from the reality around her, becoming deeply attached to literature that way.
Years passed and her home situation didn't improve, until one day, when she was ten, the police entered their house and arrested her father. Kazumi cried and protested, but her mother held her back, and simply said that justice was being done. The girl continuously tried getting concrete answers from her mom, who not only refused to give them but also prohibited her from visiting her father. By age fifteen, Kazumi decided she'd had enough and paid her dad a visit behind her mother's back. From that visit, she learned that her father was being abused in prison, and while he also refused to go into detail about what crime he had committed, he seemed to accept the punishment he was receiving. At that point, Kazumi gave up on getting any concrete answers, though she'd carry the image of her battered and bruised father within her mind for a long time.
Her school life had been fairly normal from elementary to high school, and she made a substantial number of friendships and led an overall normal and healthy life. Things changed rather drastically when she entered college though; it didn't take long after Kazumi started her first semester as a Literature major for her classmaters to play mean-spirited pranks on her, berate her constantly and even physically assault her. The faculty staff largely looked the other way, and her mother's attempts at calling the police were fruitless. Her friends from school also refused to offer her support, and eventually a few of them outright broke off the Brotherbands they established with her.
Despite all that, Kazumi resisted her mother's suggestion of changing colleges and did her best to bear through the problem, hoping against hope that her classmates would just stop eventually. But when one of her teachers gave her a bad mark and admitted to her face that it was motivated by personal distaste, Kazumi reached her breaking point and ran away from everything and everyone. She had no goal in mind, and eventually found herself in a largely empty cemetery, where she cried out to the heavens in a burst of rage. This ended up attracting the attention of somebody else - a floating helmet with a gun attached to it.
In the state of mind she was in, Kazumi didn't fully register the danger of having a gun pointed to her face, and simply listened as the being introduced himself as the Battle Wizard Kabuto. He kindly and politely asked her what was wrong, and in her desperation she couldn't help but confide in him about the issues that were plaguing her, and she ended up talking extensively about her life story for quite a while. The Wizard listened quietly and attentively, and after she had finished, he came to the conclusion that somebody she knew must've had a grudge on her due to the crime her father committed, and orchestrated a harassment campaign against her.
Kazumi could hardly believe what she was hearing, yet she couldn't deny that Kabuto's suggestion was plausible. All that time, she had thought she must have done something horribly wrong to offend her classmates, but she was just being persecuted due to a crime she didn't even commit, and that she didn't even know the true nature of. At that moment, she decided she wanted to get revenge on those who wronged her, and asked for the Wizard's help, who agreed to do so as long as she helped him with his own revenge. Kazumi accepted without inquiring further, and the Wave Conversion of Sabaki Kabuto was born that day.
The very next day, Kazumi crashed into the room where her classmates and that teacher were in while in her Wave Form, and showed no remorse as she damaged the property and assaulted everyone in the room, with particular prejudice to her teacher. She was successful in escaping with no repercussions for the crime, and while she has no intention in ever doing something like that again, she feels no guilt about it either.
After that, Kazumi became contemptful of people, police, and society in general. She dropped out from her college and distanced herself from others, breaking off any of her Brotherbands that still remained and focusing on living a plain and unassuming manner of life for the most part. She also developed some resentment for her mother, and the relationship between them suffered siginificantly. Kazumi still cares for her, though, since she still provides for and supports her daughter, who can recognize her mom legitimately cares for her. As for Kabuto, though they accepted their partnership easily, their relationship had a pretty rocky start after that, since it was easier for Kazumi to express her irritability than to demonstrate how she appreciated his presence.
The ability to Wave Change opened up a new world for her, and it didn't take long for that world to drag her into dangerous life-threatening events. One such event took place in Whazzap, and it defied the boundaries of reality and seemed to only take place in the minds of Kazumi, Kabuto and a few other Wave Warrior that had shown up. The other event was an attack in Wilshire Hills by a monstrous entity of Chaos, which did very real damage and claimed a fair amount of victims, including a couple of Wave Warriors Kazumi had met. She and her Wizard managed to survive, though they passed out after the threat was neutralized and she only woke up much later in a hospital, where her frantically worried mother waited for her.
That last event changed Kazumi in many ways. The memories that it left behind in her mind made living a normal life difficult no matter how much she tried, and when she realized she wouldn't be content with that, she decided to return to the world of Wave Warriors, intent on strenghtening herself and being prepared for whenever another large-scale threat arose again. She also came to value Kabuto's presence in her life as a cherished partner, and began to show more open consideration and appreciation for him, at least in her own way. She also wants to keep the promise she made to help the Wizard with his personal goals. All these were reasons why she decided to swallow her justified prejudice of police and take steps towards becoming a GSP officer.
However, Kazumi found that after that battle, the abilities of their Wave Conversion had changed drastically. Not only that, but Kabuto had a tendency to experience some sort of shutdown during battles, and some of their abilities and attacks were triggering on their own. Kazumi attempted to bear through these problems and simply learn the inner workings of their new capabilities through battling, but a couple of particularly difficult confrontations made her reassess that decision. While she had signed up for the GSP's Community Partnership Patrol and successfully helped out in a few occasions, she decided to take a formal leave of absence from duty so she would be better prepared to handle the battlefield.
During her absence, Kazumi practiced privately to properly learn the new properties of their Wave Conversion, while allowing her mother to analyze Kabuto so that they could find out an explanation for the issue. It took her a long time to fully get down all the details about their abilities - a process that was not at all helped by the fact that their properties changed again in the meantime - but eventually, she reached a level that she and Kabuto were comfortable with, and they decided to let Sabaki Kabuto step back into the fray.

Name: Kabuto
Gender: Male
Description: A floating Wizard in the shape of a silver T-face barbute helmet, with a golden pistol attached to its top.
Personality: Kabuto presents himself as a very affable and polite Wizard who keeps his cool and is humble to a fault, occasionaly coming across as patronizing. This is his main way of interacting with others, and he can keep up this behavior even in tense situations or to people he doesn't really like, though he finds it harder to act this way around members of the GSP. He can lose his cool if the situation gets particularly serious, especially if the safety of his partner is threatened.
With Kazumi, he is usually even more respectful and considerate, doing his best to encourage her and support her. He can be pretty casual around her, too, even teasing her a bit from time to time. With time, he has learned to be more open about his worries and things that trouble him, as well as to not hesitate in protesting some of her decisions. All in all, this has only improved their partnership. Kabuto tries to handle most of their social interactions, even though appearing in public is not very convenient due to his gleaming gun, while during battle he trusts Kazumi's judgment and intelect and simply offers basic support.
At one point, Kabuto had a passion for battling and insisted that Kazumi tried to be more amiable to those around her. As time passed, though, his protective instincts towards her grew, and he stopped finding joy in an activity that could endanger her. He also came to accept her reluctance in opening up to others, as he himself has only felt more and more alienated from the world around him.
Biography:Kabuto was created to be a Battle Wizard with Wave Changing capabilities. His creator and partner was Kenji Sabaki, a wealthy man who had hopes of joining the GSP, but decided to take justice upon his own hands as a vigilante. Their Wave Form, Ansatsu Kabuto, became an effective warrior who apprehended criminals and left them for the GSP to handle.
While he was created to be mainly polite company that was supportive during battle, Kabuto developed other personality traits as he interacted with Mister Sabaki and his family, as well as a deep emotional attachment to his partner. Over time they became legitimate friends, and the times they spent together are memories Kabuto cherises dearly.
However, their life as vigilantes eventually brought an end to that bond. On a night where they were hunting down a single criminal, they ended up falling for an ambush and found themselves surrounded by a gang of Wave Warriors. The duo fought to the best of their abilities, but the best they could manage was to take down one of their enemies before they saw no other alternative than to run desperately. Kenji knew that there would be no hope for escape, though, so he broke off their Wave Conversion before his pursuers could reach him and prompted Kabuto to escape while there was still time. The Wizard initially refused, but the man told him he needed to live so that the man's inevitable death could be avenged. The helmet conceded and fled without looking back. He never witnessed his partner's demise, though he would later come to know that Kenji's body was massacred beyond recognition, and they could only identify him from his Hunter VG.
Kabuto then attended the burial ceremony that followed, and at the end of it approached Kenji's family and asked for somebody to be his new partner so that the man's death could be avenged. Nobody stepped up to that position, though, as they wanted nothing to do with such a dangerous life. The helmet then desperately approached the GSP for help, and while he was promised that they would look into the case, day after day passed and he received no answer about the identity of his assailants, and he came to realize how unreliable the organization was.
With no more hope of realizing his quest for vengeance, Kabuto simply spent his days on the cemetery where his partner was buried and simply waited; whether it was for some glimmer of hope or for his eventual end, he couldn't quite tell. After many lonely days, however, he heard a loud cry of rage, and followed the sound to its source; a college freshman by the name of Kazumi Inamoto, who looked as desperate as her scream sounded. The Wizard listened intently to her as she told him details about her life and the harassment she was suffering. He found in the woman not only a kindred spirit, but also the glimmer of hope he was waiting for. Kabuto made a pact with her to aid in her revenge, as long as she helped him in his own quest in turn. A new Wave Conversion was born then, and Kabuto named it after his deceased partner to preserve his memory.
But while it was easy to hold up his end of the deal, getting the retribution he so desired would be a lot more difficult, and as time passed he grew more and more attached to Kazumi, and he made it his new life goal to protect his new partner where he had failed with his previous one. The near-death experiences the two had only exarcebated that feeling, and pushed his thoughts of vengeance to the back of his mind.
He was very dismayed when Kazumi displayed interest in aiding and later joining the GSP, and grew worried when she showcased other unnatural behaviors. Eventually, Kabuto couldn't take it anymore and let out his frustrations, and the two had a heart-to-heart where the woman shared his thoughts openly with him, including that she didn't forget about her end of the deal. While the helmet would've been happy to simply make sure Kazumi lived her own life, her words did light a fire in him, and he felt once again the desire to get to the bottom of Kenji's death. With that resolution, he drew back his protests and accepted the path his partner wanted to follow, no matter how much he hated it, since it had the chance to bring him closer to that goal.
The changes that their Wave Form experienced after the incident in Wilshire troubled him, as did his tendency to shut down and lose control of himself. When Kazumi suggested taking a break to better gauge their skills, Kabuto accepted to be thoroughly examined by her mother. After much trial and error, they seemed to have come to a conclusion of sorts; apparently, Kabuto had the ability to store low quantities of chaos energy, which his deceased partner had never informed him about. Because chaos energy was hard to control, this had a tendency of activating failsafes that had been built into him on some rare occasions. However, because the incident in Wilshire involved fighting a sentient mass of Chaos, it was likely that Kabuto absorbed a part of the energy released by the entity, and that energy managed to achieve some sort of sentience while within him, increasing the tendency of triggering his failsafes.
The thought of a third entity interfering with their Wave Form was extremely troubling, but Kabuto found that there was no safe way of extracting the energy he had stored, so it would remain unclear whether that entity, if it existed, had harmful intentions or not. At the very least, Kazumi's mom managed to get past his failsafes and disable them, and after that, Kabuto has yet to experience another shutdown or to lose control of himself. Still, he worries about the third entity's intentions, and wonders when and how it will manifest itself again.

Strengths and Weaknesses:
Used to her gun: Since much of the training practice involved firing the Judgment Gun time and time again, Sabaki became very familiar with every particularity of her main weapon. As a result, she can usually fire accurate shots with even the most rushed and careless attack, provided her target is within reasonable range.
Keen Eye: Sabaki focuses a lot during battle, allowing her to notice even small details that less attentive fighters could miss.
Keen Eye: Sabaki focuses a lot during battle, allowing her to notice even small details that less attentive fighters could miss.
Neglected the rest: Since her practice was focused on her innate weapons, Sabaki neglected to practice much in Battle Card usage, which specially hurt her ability to use cards that generate guns that are heavy or have noticeable kickback. Attempts to fire those carelessly will usually result in a miss, and the amount of effort and caution she needs to take to fire them properly results in those shots being overly telegraphed.
Too Much Information: Seeing the smallest blemishes and mistakes can cause a lot of useless information to be processed by Sabaki's brain, and if she focuses too much she can overwhelm her thought process and reaction time.

The spear pattern on her left arm lights up for a few seconds whenever she fires the weapon.
1. Attack Name: Burst Mode/Power Mode
Type: Basic Artillery
Element: Null
Description: While on Burst Mode, the Judgment Gun takes the form of an entirely silver short-barrel revolver, which can fire multiple rounds each turn, and is the main mode Sabaki uses.

Damage: Primary option: Pitiful damage. Usable up to three times per turn on each enemy.
Secondary Option: Modest damage. Requires an Action Charge. Loses accuracy past 5 meters. 3-turn cooldown on attack when used.
2. Attack Name: Roulette Mode

1. As Sabaki fires the gun and it unloads a regular round, a small bubble is also released backwards and it grows to encompass her body, inflicting her with Bubble.
2. The gun fires an armor-piercing projectile with the Break effect.
3. The gun fires a thin bullet that deals only Low damage, but has the Pierce effect.
4. The gun fires a regular bullet that has only the base effects of the attack.
5. The gun releases a bright flash of light on Sabaki's face as she fires its regular bullet, temporarily disabling her visor and inflicting her with Blind and Moderate damage.
6. The gun fires a water bullet with the Bubble effect, but this applies a lot of pressure to the weapon, increasing the cooldown period of this mode to 6 turns.
Damage:Base effects: Moderate damage. 3-turn cooldown. Must be last attack used in a turn. 6-sided die roll alters the effects of this attack.
